The Quilting Bee has a new layout and is having a “house swarming” party. The layout was the winner of a layout contest—which I entered but didn’t win. All the entries were really good though, I must say. I had two favourites, one of which is the winning one (the other favourite wasn’t my own in case you’re wondering lol). I was thinking about editing my entry and adding it as a skin on here… I don’t know though, what do you think?

Anyway, so if you don’t know what the QBee is, it’s a pixel trading site where you create a patch and you trade patches with other members to put on your quilt (here’s mine). It’s not just about the trading though, there are also contests, a chatroom, and a forum.

You don’t have to be a good pixeller to join (hell, I’m not), or even own a pixel site. You just need to like pixelling enough to make a patch, really. And of course, you need to own a site to link to your quilt. So join today!

I haven’t had much chance to pixel lately, I’ve been really busy with uni stuff.

My brother found my blog, so I’ve temporarily closed it. I don’t really want my offline and online worlds to collide, so to speak. I might upgrade it to Wordpress, I don’t know yet.

I’m having a kind of ‘pixel block’ at the moment, I have no idea what to pixel. Everything I come up with is too obvious and something that’s been pixelled by other people—people who are far better at it than I am.
And I want to do something about my pixelling ‘technique’, because at the moment I don’t actually have one. I’m not too bothered about my pixelling ’skill’ because that can only be improved, just how I pixel. I can’t really do the whole ‘cute’ thing, but I wish I could. *sigh*

I’ve added another affiliate, Annie from Pixel Addict. Her site is new but her pixels are awesome.
